Who are we?

Youthniversity Consult was founded as a human resource development outfit with the major aim of addressing the obvious leadership gap that has been the bane of governance in Nigeria.
Given the nation’s state of development despite her numerous natural and human resources, there is an urgent need for pragmatic leaders who would chart a new course for our great nation. This breed of leaders cannot afford to be ignorant or unschooled in the essence of transformational leadership.

At Youthniversity Consult, our approach is to train youth in leadership skills that would enable them to play their roles effectively as tomorrow’s leaders. The first set of youth to be so trained are university and polytechnic graduates.
We have put together a very unique, tailor-made and intensive training package that will be deployed to equip this group of youth with the necessary skill sets for successful careers in the corporate, national and global spheres. This 3-day training programme tagged “Leadership LaunchPad” is aimed at re- orientating the youth for nation building.

Our Speakers

  • Bamidele Adedeji

    'Dele Adedeji is an accomplished manager of human resources and a much sought-after trainer in the soft skills. He is in the business of helping organisations to overcome the problem of being starved of profits despite being staffed with persons. He obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Universities of Ife (1980) and Lagos (1985) respectively. A Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management and an Alumnus of the Lagos Business School (LBS) AMP 9 of 1999, Dele Adedeji is gifted with words which he strings together to speak with unmissable impact. He has an undying passion for youths.

  • Modupe Marc-Dawodu

    Modupe has a deep knowledge of factors affecting Human Capital performance, especially the impact soft skills have on the sustenance of success. With over a decade of experience functioning as a Training and Development strategist to Organisations (and individuals), she has designed and run management programmes on Organizational Development for various companies; industries ranging from Government, Banking & Finance, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Churches to Manufacturing. She is a Certified Executive Coach by the Certified Coaches Federation, and she serves as a coach to several executives on various levels, in the areas of Executive presence, Communication skills & Executive thinking.

  • Goke Omotola

    Adegoke Omotola is a former banker, having worked with UBA Plc and Fidelity Bank Plc. He is the author of the book titled Customer Retention “An Experiential Approach” published in May 2009 and Practical Selling Skills published in May 2013.
    Adegoke is a graduate of Finance from the University of Lagos in 1992 and bagged a Masters Degree in Property Valuation and Law from the prestigious City University Business School, London in 1997. In addition he has an MBA (Management) awarded by the University of Lagos in 2000. He is a Certified Customer Service Trainer from the Service Quality Institute, Minnesota, USA in 2011.
    He was certified in Legacy Training in August 2013 by the Zig Ziglar Incorporation, Dallas,Texas USA. Adegoke was recently certified in August 2016 John Maxwell Team as a Coach, Trainer and Speaker.
    He is a Mentor with FATE Foundation, Public Speaker and Life coach. He is happily married with Children.

  • Linda N. Obidike (ACIIN)

    Linda is a Learning and Development professional with in-depth knowledge and experience in building world class organizations and a proven track record of providing innovative and novel solutions to projects under her supervision.
    Linda is obsessed about people and organizational development. She trains individuals to reach their full potential as well as perform exceptionally in their various professional careers equipping them with skills needed to achieve their organizational and personal goals especially for the future workplace.
    Her expertise is essentially in soft skills trainings such as but not limited to – Customer Experience Management, Presentation and Public Speaking, Leadership and Management Development, Effective Communication Skills, Professional Workplace Etiquette.

  • Ndubuisi Enechionyia FCA

    Ndubuisi has his core competences in internal control, audit and financial management. He runs an audit and financial consulting firm and heads a technology company with competencies in document management and alternative power solutions. He worked in various Nigerian banks in various senior capacities in operations, audit, treasury, risk management and commercial banking, for over 14 years. He consults for various SMEs on internal control and accounting and has helped set up internal control systems for many SMEs.
    He was on the marking team of YOUWIN for three seasons and is in panels that determine grantees for the GEM program of the federal government. He is a Chartered Accountant and has a 1990 MBA from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and a member of various associations including the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria, Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria, Global Association of Risk Professional. He has been financial secretary of the Enugu and District Society (EDS) of ICAN.

  • Chijioke John Ojukwu

    Chijioke is an educator and community activist with an extensive experience of community engagement in Leeds. He has worked on the National Citizen Programme as both a Senior Mentor and Assistant Team leader, facilitating sessions and running activities for young people. He also works to increase access to education for children and young people in partnership with schools and the local authority in Leeds. Chijioke is an illustrious alumnus of The University of Buckingham UK from where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Master of Arts in Global Affairs.

  • Ini Dele-Adedeji

    Ini is a Teaching Fellow at the School of Oriental & African Studies, University of London (SOAS). He also received his PhD in Politics from SOAS. Ini’s recently concluded doctoral thesis focuses on how Boko Haram attracts support from the Muslim public in northern Nigeria through the sect’s ability to tap into certain resonant narratives. Ini has previously lectured at SOAS and the American University in London, Richmond. He has also advised the ambassador to Ghana, Nigeria & ECOWAS, and the Medicins sans Frontieres (Doctors without Borders), among other institutions.

  • Yahaya Abdulsalami-Owuda

    Yahaya Abdulsalami-Owuda has more than two decades of well diversified banking and financial industry experience. He had his professional training with the renowned firm of Chartered Accountants, Peat Marwick, Ani, Ogunde and Co between 1989 and 1992 before joining Fidelity bank Plc in 1992. While in Fidelity he worked in key departments including Operations, Strategy, Credit and rising to the position of Chief Finance Officer.
    He joined Mainstreet Bank (then Afribank Nigeria Plc) in 2010 as the Head of Strategy Department. He was later appointed the Chief Operating Officer for the Group Subsidiaries. His areas of core competence include Strategic Planning, Performance Administration, Budgetary Control, and Banking Operations.
    Yahaya is a graduate of Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria where he graduated with B. Sc Honours (Upper Division) in 1987. He also holds MBA in Banking and Finance from University of Nigeria Nsukka. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and an Honorary Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

  • Gbolahan Gbenusola MBA, CPA, CGA, ACCA (UK)

    Gbolahan is a graduate of Accounting from the University of Ilorin. He has a wealth of experience spanning over 7 years in the financial institution. He was an Internal Control Official in Guaranty Trust Bank, Nigeria for several years before moving to Stanbic IBTC Bank where he was also a Reconciliation Analyst.
    He subsequently took time off to proceed to Vancouver Island University ln Canada where he obtained a Post Degree Diploma in Business and an MBA.
    He is currently a Public Servant employed by the British Columbia Ministry of Finance.

  • Adeiye Dele−Adedeji

    Adeiye holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Kwame Nkrumah University Ghana. Her specialization is in human resource management.
    She is very passionate about human beings at work and has a huge ambition to burst boundaries and extend the frontiers of human capital management in the work place.
    Adeiye works for Youthniversity Consult.
